6. Margarin "margarine" |
Margarin kan brukes i stedet for smør. "Margarine can be used instead of butter." |
Well even though you can use it instead of butter, butter is probably better for you. So, go for the right decision, the butter. A couple of years ago, a lot of the Norwegian stores had an incident where they ran out of butter right before Christmas and it became a national crisis known as the butter crisis, smørkrisen. Now, that is a really big part of Norwegian culture right there. |
7. Hurtignudler "instant noodles" |
Hurtignudler kan ikke være bra for deg. "Instant noodles cannot be good for you." |
Um, we don’t have that many varieties of instant noodles in Norway but you can try Mr Lee. |
8. Godteri "candy" |
Godteri er bare lov på lørdager. "Candies are only allowed on Saturdays." |
Yeah, my family used to be quite strict about godteri as well and I would only get candy on Saturdays. |
9. Brus "soda" |
Jeg drikker veldig lite brus fordi jeg synes det er for søtt. "I drink very little soda because I think it's too sweet." |
I almost never drink soda actually. I think that once you get used to not drinking it, then, you don’t really miss it in your life either. So yeah, it’s really good to cut it out if you can. |
10. Sukker "sugar" |
Vi spiser altfor mye sukker. "We eat too much sugar." |
When you eat out, you don’t know exactly what’s in your food and these days, the food you can buy in the stores often have like hidden sugar and stuff. So in that sense, it’s better to make it all from scratch and stay healthy. |
Okay, everybody. That’s all for now. Thank you all for watching. Please let us know in the comments section below what kind of food you eat in order to stay healthy. |
Thank you, ha det bra, vi ses senere. |
