Maryssa: literally meaning "gone berry-picking." But when it's used as a slang expression, it means "way off." |

Picking berries is a popular activity in Norway, but you have to go far into the forest or into the mountains to do it, way off the beaten track, one could say. This is where the idea of being "way off" comes from. |
