| Patrick: i grevens tid |
| Alisha: literally meaning "in the count's time." But when it's used as a slang expression, it means "in the nick of time." |

| Alisha: Use this slang expression when you want to let someone know that they have arrived just in time. It comes from an old war during which two counts fought each other for the right to the crown of Denmark, and arriving in Denmark just then was bad timing because of the civil war. Today the meaning has become the opposite. |

| Alisha: Use this slang expression when you want to say that someone is hiding something. In the old days, the tax collectors would count the amount of pigs a man owned and calculate his tax based on the number. Some would try to cheat the tax collector by hiding some of his pigs in the forest. |

| Alisha: Use this slang expression when you want to point out that a combination of some sort is strange or unusual, not necessarily bad, however. This reportedly comes from the newly rich in the 1920's in Oslo wanting to flaunt their wealth; they would order expensive things on the menu of the Grand Café, even if they did not naturally combine. |

| Alisha: literally meaning "the naked truth." But when it's used as a slang expression, it means "the whole truth." |

| Alisha: Use this slang expression when you want to say that something is the unadulterated truth. This expression has its origins in an old fable about the falseness who stole the truth's clothing, and when the truth didn't want to wear the falseness' clothing was forced to walk home naked. |
